PHIMC serves as lead agency for Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH), Office of Violence Prevention and Behavioral Health substance abuse funding in Chicago. In 2016, PHIMC and CDPH announced the ten agencies across Chicago that were funded to deliver high quality services for prevention, treatment, detoxification, naloxone, and recovery. Target populations include uninsured and underinsured adults, homeless persons, and individuals or families involved with the child welfare system.
